For its fifth EP release, Buxton Records finds considerable form in Italian newcomer Silvio Bondage and his concise two-track Beyond The City EP.

The titular A-side is an engaging combination of rolling groove, captivating chords and swirling delay textures which provide plenty of ear candy, but enough punch to get bodies moving. B-side 'Gloomy Borough' fits the Buxton mould more fully still with a hypnotic, emotionally loaded build which drifts on glassy percussion and sharply present drums. Both tracks are everything you'd expect from Buxton yet so much more.
