Buxton Records invites you to explore Love vs Pain, the debut release from Brisbane-based DJ and producer Chris George. A new name to most, George has quickly built a reputation amongst Brisbane's underground community as a purveyor of rich, emotive soundscapes, which he further reveals across his three-track EP.

Opening the release in a spacious territory, the title track steadily gains tension as shifting percussion rolls in against an epic synth lead. 'Mental Warzone' drives further forward with brassy bass work and twirling arpeggios, emerging as a mood-filled dance floor starter. 'Numb' is a collision of lively chord progressions that provide some serious energy to the he tail end of the release.
