Buxton Records continues to explore the various shades of house, techno and electronica through the unveiling of the ‘Quest’ EP, the debut release from Brisbane-based DJ and producer Julian Keim. A new name to some, Julian has built a reputation amongst Brisbane’s underground community as a cultivator of rich, emotive soundscapes, which he continues to expose through his three-track EP.

Quest 1 is a slow burning opener, while shimmering percussion and light padwork create the delicately dreamy Quest 2. Closing track, Quest 3 is an immersive soundscape, which invites the listener to become lost in the driving pace and synths which swell and deflate throughout until closure.
